My Friday Thought: Being white it is even more important to stand behind my black friends and family. I am 'Showing racism the red card!' in line with the important message and day, which is midway through Black History Month - highlighting all the amazing and wonderful people who happen to also have a different skin colour to me.

It is important to stand with the people who often have less of a voice. Sadly there is still a need for days and organisations like this.
