Context
My Friday Thought: Getting a letter/meeting for an appointment without context is nervous and unsettling.
This week we received a paediatrics appointment for our daughter out of the blue, with no information other than the appointment date, time, location and doctor. We worked out the reason and purpose eventually, but it highlighted the importance of providing context to people.
Whether it is an invite or a one on one meeting, without the context on the purpose, you could be putting unnecessary worry onto a person. It isn't the agenda and doesn't have to be long: a couple of words (or a good title) can provide all the context one needs. Or at least enough to not make people spend time wondering what it is all about.
