My Friday Thought: There is nothing better than family time, except maybe family time and lego.

Spending time with my daughter is one of my favourite things to do, however, I also love lego. The creative nature of it, the incremental building to an outcome, the learning and problem solving.

As a lover of Lego I have a nature bias towards encouraging its use with my daughter. I have seen the huge benefits in her ability to follow complex instructions and problem solve - independently building on her own sets far beyond her years. Also the love of just making her own thing and playing with the sets that I honestly brought just for her ;-)

As the holidays come of a close, a reflection on the joy Lego and family brings.
